New Tourism Advisory Committee member

Mildura Rural City Councillors recently endorsed the appointment of a new Tourism Advisory Committee member to fill a vacancy on the Committee.

Mark Eckel has been appointed following the resignation of Peter Kelly in October this year.

The Committee now comprises:

  • Ryan Casey
  • Tennille Chalmers
  • Lucy Bromley
  • Mark Eckel
  • Camille Mansell
  • Colin Stewart
  • Maria Carrazza.

The Tourism Advisory Committee has been established to support sustainable economic growth through tourism-focused initiatives.

The Committee was established following a comprehensive recruitment and transparent consultation process.

It offers an opportunity for community members, tourism operators and industry stakeholders to contribute insights, shape Council’s Tourism Strategy and assist with its implementation.
