Become a Supplier

Would you like to become a valued stockist at the Mildura Visitor Information Centre? We are currently taking expressions of interest from local producers and makers to supply quality saleable goods that represent the Mildura region and Australia to add to the range of merchandise for sale in the Centre's Gift Shop.

If you are thinking about supplying saleable goods to the Visitor Centre, here's some things to think about.

Your product range must be either:

  • Locally owned, produced or crafted
  • Travel friendly
  • A true representation of our region, ‘Mildura’ branded or symbolic

And are your products either:

  • Ethically sourced
  • Sustainable
  • Australian made

Mildura Visitor Centre Gift Shop Ethics and Mission

  • It is important to note that the Mildura Visitor Centre Gift Shop is evolving and expanding in an exciting way – now stocking over 40 local businesses and striving to be 100% locally owned, produced and crafted, Australian made, Mildura branded, ethically sourced, sustainable and/or travel friendly. Proudly supporting local and Australian-made businesses, while being advocates for ethically sourced and sustainable principles.
  • It is a part of our mission to strive to be a ‘touch point’ for visitors (and locals) to promote ongoing economic benefit direct to local business. We encourage people to explore and experience what our region has to offer, much further than the Visitor Centre. This means that upon a successful application, we cannot guarantee to stock every single product you offer because of the Centre store capacity and so that we share the business around with as many local suppliers as possible. We encourage you to make the most of your marketing presence within the Centre by providing information about your business and other promotional material and we will promote local stockists whenever possible.
  • Becoming a New Stockist at the Mildura Visitor Information Centre Gift Shop gives you the opportunity to supply up to 6 different product lines. Limits on product lines are in place to allow diversity with the products available across our region and to share the local business investment between as many local traders as possible. Consideration may be granted, or exceptions may apply for local businesses who categorise in the Local Produce field which offer larger product ranges.
  • Seasonally, the Visitor Centre Gift Shop team may change their order selections to allow another similar product line to be displayed or to try something new. This will ensure we are giving business owners equal opportunities.
