The Mildura Regional Motorsport Strategy takes an innovative approach to growing motorsport, based around an alliance of local clubs, Mildura Rural City Council and state and national sporting bodies.
This approach is focused on building the capacity of local motorsport clubs, allowing them to grow their membership bases, improve their facilities and operate more sustainably.
By doing so, clubs will improve their ability to host more and bigger events, as well as increase participation.
This strategy could be the first of its kind in Australia and has attracted financial support from Sport and Recreation Victoria to make it a reality.
