Flood Impacted Irrigated Farming Properties

Council is providing assistance with rates payments to support eligible irrigated farming properties impacted by the recent flooding events.

Eligibility

To be eligible all of the following criteria must be met:

  • The property is an irrigated farming property classified under Rate Zone 17
  • The property has been impacted by the recent flooding events
  • Must be assessed under Council Rates Financial Hardship Policy

Conditions

  • Applications are assessed on a case‑by‑case basis.
  • Consideration will be given to the prior history and status of the rates account as detailed in the Rates Debt Management Policy.
  • Any change in property ownership or occupancy will automatically terminate any agreements made
