Children

Council plays a key role in ensuring and maintaining the health and wellbeing of young people in our community. A range of services and programs are available to support families, children and youth, from newborns through to teenagers.

Best Start

Best Start is a Victorian government early years initiative to provide the best possible environment, experiences and care for young children from birth through to school.

Family Day Care

Home-based child care for children aged between 6 weeks and the commencement of high school.

Kindergarten

Kindergartens provide a range of experiences to help children develop and learn in all areas before attending formal school.

Maternal and Child Health

A free service for all families with children from birth to school age.

Playalong Early Learning Centre

Kindergarten, occasional and long day care for newborns to six year olds located in Lemon Avenue, Mildura.

Playgroups

Find a playgroup in your area to meet and socialise with other parents, carers and their young children.

Child Safe Standards

Council, its leaders, staff and volunteers to are committed to child safety and to creating a child safe organisation that is consistent with the Child Safe Standards
