Australia Day Awards
Mildura Rural City Council’s Australia Day Awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of individuals and community organisations or groups in our region. These prestigious awards are one of the highest honours a Council can bestow to publicly acknowledge local heroes, whose dedication and contributions may otherwise go unnoticed.
Recipients of these awards are announced by the Mayor at our official Australia Day celebrations on 26 January.
- Citizen of the Year
- Young Citizen of the Year
- Community Project or Event of the Year
Nominations for 2021 Australia Day Awards will open on 1 June 2020.
