Young people aged 12 to 25 can help shape the way Mildura Rural City Council works and engages with them by taking part in our Youth Survey.

Information and ideas from the quick and easy survey will help in the development of Council’s Youth Engagement Services Strategy.

The strategy will guide Council’s work and priorities for our municipality’s younger residents in the coming four years in a bid to best support their development and well-being.

The survey is open now and can be accessed via Council’s Youth Services Instagram or Facebook, or from the Mildura Rural City Council website by visiting www.mildura.vic.gov.au/HaveYourSay

Councillor for Community Wellbeing and Services Gavin Sedgmen encouraged young people between 12 and 25 to take part in the survey.

“This is a great opportunity for our young people to let us know how they think Mildura Rural City Council should be supporting them,” Cr Sedgmen said.

“Our goal is to ensure our municipality is a place where young people can reach their potential, have a great start in life and be healthy, safe and feel like they belong.

“One of the keys to achieving these goals is listening to young people, hearing about the issues important to them, and what they believe we should be focusing on so that we can address these issues and topics.”

Residents aged 12 to 25 can take part in the survey until Tuesday 18 February.
