Council meetings are streamed live on our website, providing residents and ratepayers with a simple way to watch Council decision-making.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Council meetings have been closed to the public to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to comply with restrictions set by the Victorian Government. The Council Chambers at 76 Deakin Avenue, Mildura will remain closed during this time.
The COVID-19 Omnibus (Emergency Measures) Act 2020, which received Royal Assent on 24 April 2020, amends the Local Government Act 2020 by inserting a new Part 12 – COVID-19 temporary measures. The provisions in Part 12 allow Council meetings to be held by electronic means.
Whilst members of the community are currently unable to attend meetings in person, Community Questions are still able to be addressed at Ordinary Meetings of Council. Visit the Community Questions page for more information.
