SIRS has been operating in Sunraysia since 1972 and this year we celebrate 50 years of assisting our Community with volunteers and no paid staff.
SIRS core business for the past 23 years is assisting patients who need to travel out of the district to access medical specialists by paying upfront for airfares or petrol.
SIRS volunteers work under the guidelines of the Victorian Patient Transport Assistance Scheme (VPTAS).
An appointment is necessary and certain criteria must be met.
