Taste, Sip, Shop and Play this Christmas!

Visitors and residents alike are being encouraged to taste, sip, shop and play at the Mildura Visitor Information Centre (MVIC) Christmas Shopping Night next month.

Now home to more than 50 local suppliers, the MVIC gift shop offers something for everyone including local produce, books, art, home and body products, novelty items, handmade jewellery, festive goods, stocking fillers and much more.

The MVIC will host a Christmas Shopping Night on Wednesday, 3 December from 5pm to 7pm, providing a raft of opportunities and experiences to enjoy.

Councillor for Tourism and Events Rebecca Crossling encouraged residents and visitors to come along and enjoy the shopping night.

"You can browse the Mildura Visitor Information Centre's gift shop showcase, featuring more than 50 talented local producers and suppliers, and while you're there, take advantage of our complimentary gift wrapping," Cr Crossling said.

"You can also sample some of the best local wines our region has to offer with free wine tastings and sales from local cellar doors."

The first 50 sales on the night will receive a Mildura.com gift bag, while everyone who enters the MVIC for the shopping night will go into the draw for a Mildura Gift Pack valued at more than $200, with a Mildura Monopoly board game awarded to the runner-up.

The MVIC is located at the Alfred Deakin Centre on the corner of Deakin Avenue and Twelfth Street.
