This workshop is for people working or supporting others in LGBTIQA+ inclusion, or looking to complement their work in diversity, equity and inclusion. 

It draws on decades of research and evidence in challenging homophobia, transphobia and engaging men while challenging everyday violence-supporting attitudes and behaviours.

Participants will learn:

• How to identify, unpack and understand LGBTIQA+ resistance in everyday settings
• Competence, confidence, and the importance of both in challenging resistance
• Effective ways to engage, interrupt and respond to LGBTIQA+-resistance
• How to tailor your own ways to engage and respond
• How to plan for challenging LGBTIQA+ resistance in everyday settings
