Join us at Mildura Library to celebrate the launch of Xavier’s Superpower: A Rhyming Book about Type 1 Diabetes by local author Illana Vallelonga. This heartwarming children’s book encourages understanding, kindness and inclusion while reminding young readers that challenges need not define their future.
About the author: Illana Vallelonga is a mum, education support worker, and a holistic kinesiology practitioner from Australia. She is passionate about helping children feel understood, supported, and confident in who they are. This story was inspired by her son Xavier and their journey learning to live with Type 1 Diabetes.
