Mildura Deakin Rotary Club has been operating since 1994. Part of the worldwide Rotary organisation, the club focuses on servicing the local Sunraysia community, in particular for the benefit of young people. Over the years the club has hosted over 25 international exchange students as well as sending a similar number overseas. We support Rotary Youth Programs designed to improve leadership and other skills to our youth. We have been a sponsor of the Northern Mallee Leadership program for a number of years and many of our members are former program graduates. Our major fundraiser is the Longest Lunch held in March of every year under the vines of the Grand Hotel. We are proud of our support of local business who suffered with Covid restrictions over the 2020 2022 period by way of our Xmas Hampers
