For many years, Ouyen was a busy railway hub, connecting regional communities and supporting grain, livestock and freight transport. Join railway historian Steven Haby for a journey through the region’s rail history, exploring the vital role railways played across the Mallee.
Steven Haby is a keen railway enthusiast and has written numerous articles for railway and transport magazines. Steven relocated to Mildura from Melbourne in June 2025 and is Team Leader Library Operations and Services.
