Join us for an exciting morning event with author Rosemary Garreffa as she discusses her latest novel, Raising Sparrows.

Bookings required.

Rosemary is an Australian author and a lover of fiction that highlights family bonds, combined with historical fiction.

Over her lifetime she has worked in banking and insurance, along with juggling the family businesses.

She lives with her husband John on a table grape vineyard with a black cat, Thomas, who loves swimming and a Jack Russell, Brutus, who does not like water at all, on the Murray River at Euston, New South Wales.

Raising Sparrows

It is 1863, on the goldfields of Sandhurst, Victoria, and Annie Tegart lives life on the edge of society, pregnant and raising four young children, trying to better her life and theirs.

Holding her back is a sometimes present, bully of a man. Had she been older or wiser, she would have run as fast away from him as her skirts would allow.
