Family Day Care

At the March Ordinary Council Meeting, Council resolved to transition out of delivering Family Day Care.

This difficult decision has not been made lightly. It followed a service review; which found that broader pressures across the early childhood sector have made ongoing direct delivery increasingly unsustainable, a consultation process and careful consideration of feedback.

There will be no immediate changes to the service and the Family Day Care Support team will remain available to offer guidance, reassurance and practical support to educators and families during the transition.

Child Safe Standards
