How much will Family Day Care Cost?
Educators set their own fees within an allowable range. The fees vary according to the number of hours, time of day, weekends, public holidays and any travel requirements. The fees range from $7.552 to $11 per child per hour plus an administration levy. Travel, food or care outside normal hours may also be additional expenses depending on the educator’s fee schedule. Families can apply through Centrelink to see if they are eligible for Child Care Subsidy, which can reduce the cost of care.

How many children will an educator have?
The total number is seven, including educators own children.  Four children under school age and three of school age.

What hours is care available?
Each educator sets their own days, hours and times. Evening, overnight, weekend and public holiday care may be arranged depending on the specific Educator’s availabilities. Where vacancies exist educators work full time, part-time or offer 24 hour care.
