School Holiday Activities

Mildura Rural City Council’s Youth Engagement Services Team host a range of FREE activities to enjoy during the Victorian school holidays.

The program offers young people aged 12 to 25 years a variety of social, creative, recreational, and educational development-based activities.

The School Holiday Program aims to enhance young people’s participation, connection, wellbeing, and skill development in fun new ways.

All programs have limited availability and require online registration via EventbriteFollow us on social media to keep up to date with our programs. You can find us on Facebook, Instagram and Eventbrite.

Term 2 School Holiday Program

All Activities are fully supervised by our Friendly Trained Staff

Important notes:

  • Young people are requested to arrive at activities at least 15 minutes prior to activities starting.
  • If the young person is unable to attend or wishes to cancel a booking, please call the Youth Engagement Services team on 5018 8100. This will enable other young people have an opportunity to participate.
  • A reminder SMS will be sent the day before your chosen activity/activities.
  • Please advise or cancel your booking asap if the young person is unable to attend.
  • Please bring a drink bottle to each activity and a hat to all outdoor activities.
  • Extra snacks can be purchased at some activities.
  • 30+ sunscreen is provided for outdoor activities; young people can bring their own.
  • Mosquito Repellent is available for young people at all outdoor activities.
  • All activities are smoke & vape free.
  • To attend these school holiday activities you must live, study, work or have a significant connection with Mildura Rural City Council.
  • To attend training opportunities for young people (aged 14-25 years) who may be looking for a pathway into employment.  All participants must live, work, study or have a significant connection with Mildura Rural City Council to book for training. 
  • Mildura Rural City Council is a child safe organisation where protecting children from harm and neglect is embedded in the thinking and practice of all employees, volunteers and contractors.
