Playalong Early Learning Centre
At the March Ordinary Council Meeting, Council resolved to transition out of delivering Playalong Early Learning.
This difficult decision has not been made lightly. It followed a service review; which found that broader pressures across the early childhood sector have made ongoing direct delivery increasingly unsustainable, a consultation process and careful consideration of feedback.
There will be no immediate changes to the service however no new enrolments will be accepted.
Our commitment now is to ensure families continue to have access to high‑quality early education and care in our community and to support them with compassion and clarity as we move through this transition together.

Childcare fee assistance
The Australian Government provides financial assistance to help families cover the costs of childcare. Subsidies are available to eligible families and can be obtained by contacting Services Australia (Centrelink).
