Cheryl’s Family Day Care
My name is Cheryl and I live in South Merbein on 1 ½ acres surrounded by table grape – almond – Olives - Vegetable – Horse and Goat properties.
I have a Border Collie “Coco” , Cavalier King Charles Spaniel “Milo”. Guinea Pigs, Fish and Dwarf Rabbits– which the children can have interactions with and learn to care for and respect.
I love to garden and share this interest with the children in care - we all like to get messy in outdoor activities, while learning about this great world that we live in.
My Philosophy is all about forming great bonds with the children and their extended families.
Children learn the best when they feel that they are loved and valued.
I have had the privilege of being a Family Day Care Educator for over 20 years and have been so lucky to have found a job that I love so much. Children are our future and I’m blessed to have been a part of some of their lives.

- Approved Asthma Emergency Management Training
- Approved Anaphylaxis Management Training

How much does Family Day Care cost?
Our educators work under a deregulated fee system where, as service operators, they set their own fees according to the service provided.
You may be able to claim Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to reduce your fees.
