Our mission is for woman and families to have access to timely, free and confidential support when experiencing an unexpected pregnancy, pregnancy related crisis or postpartum & early parenting difficulties. PRAM offers a safe environment to gently support woman through all forms of reproductive loss & infant loss, including IVF loss, miscarriage, stillbirth and post-termination grief. We believe that no woman or family should have to navigate these situations alone.

At PRAM, we understand that pregnancy & early parenting can become a crisis when life stressors such as fear & confusion, homelessness, relationship conflict, financial strain, mental illness or social pressures are experienced. We understand that the welfare of the mother and her baby are indivisible; therefore, the woman's physical, psychological and social safety is our primary focus. We hope to empower woman to make confidential, fully informed decisions, without control or coercion, and provide a safe space for healing.

PRAM provides non-directional discussions on all aspects of pregnancy as well as comprehensive advice on the physical and psychological effects of termination, miscarriage and pregnancy related trauma. PRAM provides practical support where possible, helping new mothers to obtain material assistance such as infant clothing, baby furniture and other necessary items. PRAM offers referral & advocacy to external services in the local area that can provide housing support, family violence services & refuge, antenatal & pregnancy care, early parenting support and mental health services.

Note: PRAM does not offer medical services; however, PRAM can offer guidance and support for woman to access external GP services, antenatal services and/or medical care.
