October is History Month

Visit Mildura Library to view the History Month display featuring Mallee Living Histories stories, local newspapers and researching resources.

Featured are some of the stories included on the Mallee Living Histories website. To find out more about Mallee Living Histories and other locally significant historical items click here.

Also featured are copies of front pages of the first editions of many local newspapers that circulated in the early years of the district.

Another part of the display shows examples of items that have been researched, the results of that research and the resources used to do the research. Explore the Online history resources and Family history resources lists to find links to these helpful resources.
