Join us for an exciting family story time with local author Courtney Lawrence. Following a reading of her new book Courtney will run activities and games in theme with the book’s musical message.

 

About the author

Courtney Lawrence is a proud Mildura-based writer. Her picture book, Not Even a Snap is the story of a young crocodile who has dreams of playing music. While fun and full of musical adventure, Not Even a Snap also teaches kids about the highs and lows of trying a new skill or hobby, and how to overcome the voice of doubt that tells children and adults alike to just quit. In her spare time Courtney loves to play music and try new things. She is now learning to become a teacher and foster her passion for education, stories and literacy.
