*This interactive workshop is for people who are passionate about making their local community more dementia-friendly. The workshop aims to build awareness of dementia, break down some of the stigma surrounding it and will get people thinking about small ways they can be more supportive and inclusive of people living with dementia in their local community. Whether you are a person with a diagnosis, a carer of someone with dementia, have a local business, or are a member of a club or group, there are benefits for everybody by becoming more dementia-friendly.
All those attending will receive a Dementia Friends badge. A morning tea will be provided mid-way through the workshop.
