Christmas in a Flood Year 1956

The display highlights some commentary of the 1956 floods from the perspective of those outside of the district, by way of newspaper articles from around Australia. Also included are local Christmas advertisements featured in the Sunraysia Daily. A selection of articles showing how locals began the process of getting back to normal after the floods. Some of Ted Lawton's photographs featuring scenes from the 1956 floods are also on display.
