Sunraysia residents have a chance to shape the services and resources provided by the Mildura Visitor Information and Booking Centre by taking part in Council’s Visitor Information Centre Residents Survey.

The Mildura Visitor Information and Booking Centre (MVIBC), in Deakin Avenue, is a vital gateway for both visitors and locals to find out what is happening in our region, but community input is needed to ensure it continues to meet users’ needs.

The survey opens on Friday, 19 May and will be open for three weeks, closing at 5pm on Thursday, 8 June.

Mildura Rural City Councillor for Economic Development and Tourism Mark Eckel said the survey would help guide the future direction of the MVIBC.

“This is a chance for our community to have their say on the future of our Mildura Visitor Information and Booking Centre,” Cr Eckel said.

“It will allow residents to let us know what they think of the existing services provided at the Centre, where we can improve, and services and resources they’d like to see in the future.”

Community responses to the survey will help shape the development of Council’s Visitor Information Centre Strategy 2017-2020, a key document which will guide the facility’s day-to-day operations and is linked directly to the Community and Council Plan.

Surveys can be taken online by visiting www.mildura.vic.gov.au/Customer-Support/Have-Your-Say and take only a few minutes to complete. Hard copies are also available at the MVIBC at 180 – 190 Deakin Avenue.
