Put your kerbside bins out the night before they are due for collection. Bins can be collected at any time between 5am and 9pm. Issues can arise where the collection schedule is interrupted which means your bin can be collected later or earlier than usual.
Make sure there are no obstructions to your bin getting collected. Make sure there are no parked cars, letterboxes, posts, signs or trees too close or blocking the collection of the bins.
Place your bin on the nature strip or footpath 10cm to 100cm from the kerb with the wheels and handle of the bin facing your property.
Place your bin 1.5m to 2m from the edge of the sealed road or the graded road shoulder with the wheels and handle of the bin facing your property.
If you are the property owner or property manager (real estate) and would like to apply for or renew a request for an additional bin, complete the following form.

Successful applicants are responsible to ensure that they renew their application by 30 April of each year for the service to continue. If your renewal is not submitted your additional bin will not be emptied.
