Mildura Arts Centre’s (MAC) popular monthly summer wind-down event is back with the first Twilight of 2023 kicking off this Friday night, 20 January with The Silver Session, Hazel Symonds and Jonathan Fuda, and Tiny Feet.

Based on the beautiful MAC lawns, the first Twilight of 2023 starts at 5pm, offering four hours of free live entertainment for all ages.

Platters, snacks and drinks can be purchased from the VISTA Cafe Bar at MAC or from a pop-up catering truck on-site.

People are encouraged to bring along their own blanket or chair to make themselves comfortable.

Councillor for Arts, Culture and Heritage Helen Healy said Twilight held a unique place in Mildura’s entertainment scene.

“There aren’t too many regular venues or events where you can enjoy great live music, framed by the picturesque Mildura Arts Centre precinct, in a relaxed environment, and it’s free to enjoy,” Cr Healy said.

“This is a great concept that’s suitable for everyone from young people wanting to kick off their night with some live entertainment through to those wanting to end the working week with a relaxed night out.”

While the live performers take centre stage, MAC’s monthly Twilight events also offer an opportunity to explore the current exhibitions in the gallery and Rio Vista Historic House, as well as kid’s activities and games, making it a great night out for a variety of ages.
