Eftsure - Supplier payment verification system

Mildura Rural City Council uses Eftsure as part of its supplier payment process, to reduce the risk of payment error, fraud and cybercrime.

All of our suppliers are required to provide business information to Eftsure for independent verification before conducting business with, and getting payment from us.

What is Eftsure?

Eftsure is an independent, real-time, continuous controls monitoring system designed to manage supplier onboarding and data management.

Supplier data provided during onboarding is verified by Eftsure to ensure that only legitimate information is entered into our finance system.

This system strengthens Council’s internal control processes and helps to ensure payments are made to the intended recipient, by providing Council with an independent verified database of payee information and real-time alerts if any payee information is incorrect.

Eftsure is used by organisations including Griffith University, Monash Health, Alfred Health, NSW Ports, and 7-Eleven.

Verifying your business details in Eftsure

Suppliers who undertake business with Council should expect to receive an email from Eftsure, inviting you to confirm your details, including your business name, ABN and bank account details. The email will link you to the supplier verification portal on the Eftsure website.
