Mildura East Growth Area Strategic Framework Plan - Exhibition of Draft Vision and Key Directions

Two rounds of community, industry and stakeholder consultation, (held in September and November 2021) have informed the development of a draft Vision and Key Directions Report and draft Key Issues Report, now available for public comment until Monday 28 February 2021. We welcome your feedback.

Council is working with Hansen Partnership to prepare a Framework Plan for the Mildura East Growth Area.  Confirmation of the vision and key directions for the study area is an important and necessary step in enabling completion of the full Mildura East Growth Area Strategic Framework Plan, ahead of its adoption by Council.

  • Hardcopy - The report is also available for viewing at Council's Madden Avenue Service Centre (if open) and Deakin Avenue Service Centre (if open) and Mildura Library (if open).

  • Fill in a survey to provide a quick insight into your thoughts, find it online here: https://www.mildura.vic.gov.au/MEGA_SF or pick up a hardcopy at Council offices and return it to Council before the end of February.
  • A community drop-in-session is also being held on Wednesday, 9 February 2022 at 12pm and 6pm respectively at Council Offices, 76 Deakin Avenue. Drop in and have a chat to the consultants, ask your questions!  To participate please register your interest by contacting Council.

All attendees are required to be double-vaxed.  Given the ongoing uncertainty in regard to Covid-19 restrictions which may be in place, the session may be required to be conducted on-line.  In this case, a link will be sent to all registered participants when confirmed and no later than a day prior to the session.

Please note that name and postal contact details of authors are required for comments to be considered and attributed correctly. Written comments will be acknowledged and are considered public documents.  Issues/matters raised therein (including authorship) may be reported to Council in an open Council meeting Agenda.

Timeframe

Written comments and survey responses must be received by close of business Monday 28 February 2022.
