Recreation Assistance Grant Program

The Mildura Rural City Council Recreation Grants provides $229,000 annually to support local recreation groups.

The grants help fund projects that:

• Encourage participation in sport and recreation
• Improve access to quality sporting and recreation facilities, programs and activities.
• Support a diverse range of leisure and recreation opportunities.

Before you start an application, you must read these guidelines and discuss your project idea with a member of the Recreation Team at Mildura Rural City Council.

Applications must be submitted online through the grants portal: www.mrcc.smartygrants.com.au.

All grant streams operate on a minimum 2:1 ($2.00 Council - $1.00 Applicant) funding ratio.

When do grant applications open and close?

Applications for all grant funding streams open in July and close in March.
