Council continues to closely monitor riverine flooding in our region as river levels recede. This page contains important information relating to current river levels, road closures and clean-up and recovery support available.

Community Flood Update - 19 January 2023

Get an update on the current Murray River Flood Event from agencies including the Mildura Rural City Council, Mallee Family Care and Emergency Recovery Victoria which was recorded on Wednesday 18 January 2023.

Bin Collections

Residents who reside in closed-off areas due to the Murray River Flood event are being asked to work with Mildura Rural City Council to ensure their kerbside bins are collected on time.

Council contractors are unable to enter closed roads, so residents are being asked to place their bins at the nearest open road prior to collection day. Our Waste team is available to discuss further. Please contact them on 03 5018 8100.
