The Victorian State Government have released the new Public Events Framework and information to help organisers of public events in Victoria to meet their safety obligations and responsibilities during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
These guidelines will help event organisers to put into place the appropriate measures to hold COVIDSafe public events. As restrictions ease, Victorians will be able to gather in larger numbers at approved organised events.
There are now defined requirements from public event organisers including:
- COVIDSafe Event Plan submitted for review and approval for Tier 1 and Tier 2 events
- COVIDSafe Event Checklist uploaded and published online for Tier 3 events
For further information on the Victorian Government guidelines on public events, please click here to visit the website.
Below is a link to a COVIDSafe Event Plan or Risk Management Plan Template which may help you organise your Tier 3 events. (Tier 1 and 2 events must use the DHHS template)
Please note, that if you have included your COVIDsafe Plan as part of your Risk Management Plan, you do not need to include a separate COVIDsafe plan.
