Mildura's events calendar includes a rich array of community events. Here is a taste of what is coming up:

New Years Eve Celebration
Come along to the River Performance Venue and Celebrate New Years Eve with numerous performances and appearances, including local and national acts to help you bring in the New Year in style!

Festivities begin from 7:00pm with entertainment provided for the children and families and continue well into the night with a well known band and a wonderful firework spectacular at 9.30pm and midnight!
Australia Day
Australian Citizenship symbolises our unity as a nation. It represents commitment to Australia and its people, the values we share and our common future. It also symbolises the sense of belonging to the country where we have been born or where we have decided to make our home.

Mildura Rural City Council recognises the importance of this day through a community celebration at the Mildura Homestead, Cureton Ave on 26 January. The day will incorporate breakfast, a flag raising ceremony, citizenship ceremony, national anthem, presentation from the Australia Day ambassador, presentation of awards for Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Event of the year, and a fantastic performance for the children.
