As part of its national cybersafety education program, the Australian Communications and Media Authority provides information and activities for children, parents and teachers. The Cybersmart Guide for Families is part of the Australian Government’s broad cybersafety program.
This guide provides practical advice and information on safe internet use in the library and at home. In learning and applying safe internet skills, and sharing these with your children, you can help to keep them safe, and ensure that the whole family enjoys positive internet experiences. We have print copies at each library or you can access the Cybersmart Guide for Families (1.77 mb) online.
The www.cybersmartkids.com.au is another website that has great information about using Chat, mobile phones and a list of cool and safe websites.
