The following committees are auspiced by Council to provide a strategic focus on issues facing our ageing and disabled poplation.

Disability Access Advisory Committee
The Disability Access Advisory Committee meets on a monthly basis and is an avenue where issues can be raised and subsequently presented to Council for further investiagion, action, future planning etc.

The Rural Access Worker is based within Aged & Disability Services and may be contacted for further information on

Advisory Committee for Older People
The role of the Advisory COmmittee for Older People is to be alert to environmental changes, policy direction and Council strategy. The group's role is to review and monitor policy and strategy for Council.
