Building Maintenance  Printer Friendly

Mildura Rural City Council's Building Maintenance Branch oversees the upkeep of community buildings in the municipality.

Building Maintenance oversees work at more than 600 public buildings and structures in the municipality.

These range from the Alfred Deakin Centre and Rio Vista, to preschools, Maternal and Child Health Centres and community halls.

Major works are included in Council's Capital Works program with specific jobs being proposed each year and funding from Council’s own budget being put forward.

Such capital works could be the removal of asbestos roofing, repainting of buildings, new carpet, upgrade of toilets or anything that is deemed to be too large for maintenance works.
