Suppliers & Contractors

Council has a number of requirements that contractors and suppliers must meet in order to do business with the organisation. These requirements are in place to ensure all Council operations meet appropriate OH&S, procurement and governance regulations.

Preferred Contractors

Only contractors that successfully meet Council’s Preferred Contractor requirements are approved and eligible to complete Council works or contracts. To become a Preferred Contractor with Council, businesses should complete and submit a Preferred Contractor Application Form. Council evaluates applications and rates them on conformance with our Risk Management and OH&S Standards.

Contractor OH&S Induction

One of the requirements for being a Council Preferred Contractor is completing Council's Contractor Occupational Health and Safety Induction, which is a legal requirement. The OH&S Induction can be completed online.
