On Friday 29 May 2009, Council was notified by the Minister for Planning of Planning Amendment C58 which effects all land zoned Farming Zone within the Mildura Rural City Council.

Hardship Arrangements - Amendment C59
Some residents who were forced to withdraw planning permit applications earlier this year upon the introduction of Amendment C58 can now resubmit them.

Amendment C59, which amends Amendment C58 identifies 36 properties which are now eligible to lodge a planning application for a dwelling.

On Thursday 11 June 2009 Council held an information session for people with pending planning permit applications, which have been affected by Amendment C58.
