Mildura Rural City Council's Events Unit, based at the Alfred Deakin Centre, provides specialist support, resources and promotion for more than 300 events held across the municipality.

The Events Unit plays an important role in making Mildura one of Australia's premier regional event centres.

The Events Unit has produced a number of publications and offers the Events Grant Scheme which can be perused by following the links below.

The Events Unit can also assist with the organisation of your festival or event in a number of ways, ranging from general advice to administrative support and financial assistance.

The Events Grant Scheme is open to incorporated community, culture and sporting groups and service organisations located within Mildura Rural City Council.

New Initiative Funding is also available for newly created events and is open all year round.
