Mildura Rural City Council is looking to fill four vacancies on its Arts and Culture Advisory Committee. Expressions of interest have been extended and now close 4pm, Friday 8 December 2017.

Portfolio Councillor Jason Modica is encouraging locals to get involved.

“This Committee is a very dynamic group of people and we’re looking forward to continuing to grow and promote arts and cultural opportunities for the entire community within the region,” Cr Modica said.

The Arts and Culture Advisory Committee is tasked with developing Mildura Arts Centre as a leading regional arts and cultural precinct and enhancing the vitality and viability of the region at a national and international level.

Working in partnership with Council, the Advisory Committee will build upon this vision to enrich people’s lives through arts and cultural experiences.

“We are looking for people with a real passion for the arts, and a willingness to participate in the development of arts and culture in our region,” Cr Modica said.
