Do you have a passion for the arts and a desire to see artistic and cultural development in our region? 

Maybe you’ve been looking for a way to get involved in making our wonderful region even better?

If so, then the Mildura Arts and Culture Advisory Committee could be for you.

Mildura Rural City Council is seeking nominations for three vacancies on the Mildura Arts and Culture Advisory Committee.

The eight-person Committee works with Council to ignite arts and culture across the region.

Advisory Committee Chair Joanne Farrell is encouraging locals to get involved.

“This Committee is a very dynamic group of people and we’re looking forward to continuing to grow and promote arts and cultural opportunities for the entire community within the region,” Ms Farrell said.

The Arts and Culture Advisory Committee is tasked with developing the Mildura Arts Centre as a leading regional arts and cultural precinct and enhancing the vitality and viability of the region at a national and international level.

Working in partnership with Council, the Advisory Committee will build upon this vision to enrich people’s lives through arts and cultural experiences.
