1846 Grants Applications Now Open FB012.jpg

Thousands of dollars in support is now available to community groups, clubs and not-for-profit organisations as part of Council’s Community Grants scheme.

Applications for our latest round of Community Grants are now open in the following areas:

  • Recreation Development (up to $1000)
  • Facilities Upgrade (up to $6000)
  • Rural Access (up to $3000)
  • Arts Development (up $2000)

The Community Grants program helps local not-for-profit organisations and clubs achieve outcomes in line with the objectives of our Council and Community Plan 2017 – 2021, whilst improving outcomes for users of the clubs and services provided by groups.

Mildura Mayor Mark Eckel said Council is proud to be offering the program once again.

“Our grants program is an opportunity for us to support the many community groups and organisations in our municipality with a range of projects, whether it be exhibition development and art displays, improving access for people with a disability, or purchasing sports equipment,” Cr Eckel said.

“With funding of up to six thousand dollars available, community groups are urged to contact Council to discuss how one of these grants could support their next project.”

Applications close at 4pm, Monday 19 March.

Event organisers are reminded that applications are still open for Council’s Events Funding and Support Grants Scheme, with individual grants of up to $50,000 available. Applications close on 2 March this year.

Any new applicants are encouraged to contact our Events Team directly at events@mildura.vic.gov.au or 03 5018 8100 to set up a one-on-one appointment for information about where their event will best fit in with the tiered funding model.
