Young people in our region are being encouraged to have their say on what they want our community to look like in the future.

Designed by Mildura Rural City Council’s Youth Action Committee, the 2016 Youth Survey is open to all young people aged between 12 and 25 who live in our region.

Community Wellbeing and Services Councillor Sharyon Peart said the Youth Action Committee are a group of 13 young people who provide a voice for Mallee Youth.

“The Youth Action Committee are a great group of young people from a wide range of backgrounds.  They have designed this survey themselves, which means the questions are relevant to them and which have a focus on specific youth issues.

“By completing the survey people will be assisting Council to respond to the needs of young people in planning, policy, advocacy and service delivery.  It helps us to know what is important and what we need to focus on into the future.”

The survey will take five to ten minutes to complete and all responses will are confidential.

The survey is available from Council’s website at www.mildura.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay
