Planning Advice & Heritage Advice

Council provides advice on planning matters to assist people to understand local planning regulations and how they may affect them.To request planning advice from Council complete and submit a Planning Advice form which can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.

A free Heritage Advisory Service to residents and property owners within the municipality. The service is available to assist the community and Council to manage heritage assets. The Heritage Advisory Service is made possible thanks to assistance from Heritage Victoria.

Planning History & Records

You can request information about, and copies of planning permits and endorsed plans for a specific property. Searches cover the last 50 years and can take up to five working days to process. To request planning records about a property complete and submit the form below.

Planning Certificates

Planning Certificates are official statements of the planning controls that apply to a property. They are mainly used to satisfy the requirements of the Sale of Land Act 1962, under which the vendor of a property is required to provide details of the land zoning, and any overlay controls or exhibited proposed amendments to the Mildura Planning Scheme.

A certificate can be sent to you by email, fax or post.
