The tractor-train tour commences from the Information Centre at 11.30am. It's all aboard for the tour which winds its way through the various exotic plantings. Complete with commentary, it's a very relaxing and informative way to spend 45 minutes. Garden tours cost is $5.50 and children under 12 are free. A light lunch supplied by the "Friends of the Gardens" is available from 12noon to 1.30pm. Gardens are open weekdays from 8am-4.30pm and weekends from 10am-4.30pm.

Breeders Plate Sales-Club conducts 3 sales each year. Four week old pigeons are sold and proceeds go to a race each September, worth between $15,000-$25,000 every year.
