Mildura Country Music Festival
Friday, September 26, 2014
to Sunday, October 05, 2014
When Australian country music fans talk about the festival 'biggies' the Mildura Country Music Festival rates a mention alongside Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Gympie Music Muster as one of the big three. The major difference between the other two and the 28th annual Mildura Country Music Festival is Australia's biggest showcase of Independent entertainers. What that means is a seemingly unending cast of highly talented professional country music artists who aren't signed to major record label deals. The Independent factor gives Mildura a very different complexion, and it's a successful formula that has worked admirably over the years. In 2014, more than 100 individual artists and groups will entertain over the 10-days and the roster comprises many award winners including the Golden Guitar finalists and Star Maker winners.

Mildura Writers Festival
Thursday, July 16, 2015
to Sunday, July 19, 2015
The Mildura Writers Festival is acknowledged as one of the best festivals in the country. This festival brings a focus to Mildura as a high quality cultural destination. The 2014 event was heralded by audiences and participating writers as the best ever. The following quote is one of the many accolades received by Arts Mildura following the event. The festival presents high profile writers to a broad range of audiences in Mildura, including secondary and tertiary school students and the general public.

You have an amazing festival, so different to those elsewhere, in that it is truly festive. Plus, you make it look easy, which I know requires a stupendous effort. I'd heard great things about the festival in advance; I'm glad to say that it exceeded even these raised expectations. Gideon Haigh

Mildura Country Music Festival
Friday, September 25, 2015
to Sunday, October 04, 2015
When Australian country music fans talk about the festival ‘biggies’ the Mildura Country Music Festival rates a mention alongside Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Gympie Muster as one of the big three. The major difference between the other two and the annual Mildura Country Music Festival is Australia’s biggest showcase of Independent entertainers. What that means is a seemingly unending cast of highly talented professional country music artists who aren’t signed to major record label deals. The Independent factor give Mildura a very different complexion, and it’s a successful formula that has worked admirably over the past years. More than 100 individual artists and groups will entertain over the 10-day period and the roster comprises many award winners including the Golden Guitar finalists and Star Maker winners.
